ABOUT THE ITEM
This stunning tennis bracelet features 3.44 carats of sunset-colored fancy sapphires set in 14 karat white gold.  Many of these fancy colored sapphires fall within the "Padparadscha" color range, containing both pink and orange hues.  The bracelet measures 2 millimeters wide by 6 3/4 inches in length, and is fastened by a tongue and groove clasp with double safety closure.  Hallmarked "14K".

Padparadscha sapphire is a very rare and valuable variety of sapphire whose name is derived from the Sinhalese ford for Lotus Blossom.  Lotus blossoms are beautiful flowers that were found throughout Sri Lanka, where the gem was originally discovered.
