ABOUT THE ITEM
Van Cleef & Arpels is a world renowned, French luxury jewelry company that was founded in 1896 by Alfred Van Cleef and his father-in-law, Salomon Arpels, in Paris, France.  Since the 1970s, Van Cleef & Arpels has devoted a jewelry collection to Christmas roses, which bloom in midwinter like promises of happiness. Combining the glitter of diamonds with the sheen of ornamental stones, the Rose de Noël™ collection symbolizes beauty and romance.

These magnificent, vintage Van Cleef & Arpels "Rose de Nöel" earrings were completely hand fabricated by the finest of French goldsmiths.  The earrings measure 36mm in diameter and feature polished white coral petals blooming from a cluster of brilliant cut diamonds, in 18 karat gold.  The diamonds are extremely high quality, grading D-F color (colorless) and IF-VVS clarity (internally flawless to very very slightly included).  The earrings are fastened by hinged, French backs for pierced ears.

Signed, numbered, and hallmarked with the French eagle head quality mark.  The earrings are accompanied by the following items:
