Navajo, Zuni, and Hopi are the three main tribes responsible for producing some of the most beautiful, creative and exciting sterling silver jewelry in American history.
Navajo jewelry is known for large, chunky gems bezel-set in sterling silver. Turquoise, coral, onyx, and other local gems were commonly used in Navajo jewelry.
This vintage, Native American Navajo cuff bracelet was hand fabricated in sterling silver. It features twenty-nine (29) green turquoises mounted in bezel settings. The turquoises are extremely attractive shades of green, with several of them containing quartz inclusions! The bracelet is rather large, measuring 49 millimeters wide. The cuff is embellished with hand stamped details, and is stamped with an unidentified maker's mark on its interior.
