The Georgian Era jewelry period lasted from 1714-1837.  The era is named after the Hanoverian Monarchs of the United Kingdom, which included "The 4 Georges" and King William IV.

Georgian Era jewelry is hand-fabricated and often features old cut diamonds such as old mine cuts and antique rose cuts, as it predates modern brilliant cutting techniques.
