This beautiful, handmade Art Nouveau Era antique brooch, by Kollmar, Rauch & Co., features a natural sapphire set in solid 14 karat gold.
Circa 1895-1910.
Bezel set at the center of the brooch is one (1) natural round sapphire weighing approximately 0.10 carat. The sapphire has been routinely heated to achieve its attractive blue hue.
The brooch has fleur-de-lis accents along with floral details with a soft, textured finish, done by hand.
The brooch is fastened by a pin with round hinge and early safety catch.
The safety is signed and hallmarked, "K14R", which is the registered trademark of Kollmar, Rauch & Co. of Newark, New Jersey.
