Crafted in solid 10 karat gold, this antique Victorian slide pendant showcases exceptional texture and movement. The border and central halved seed pearl are framed with a black enamel tracery technique known as taille d’épargne in which opaque enamel is applied into shallow engraved recesses.
Beneath the engraved slide hangs a bell-shaped drop accented with multiple rope tassels, one of which is kinked and another missing, consistent with age-related wear.
Although not hallmarked, XRF testing confirms the piece is crafted in solid 10K gold.
